When I had my CABG x 4 in 2007 and before I went to sleep, I said to my perfusionist (and my employee,) "Hey Diaz, put some albumin in the pump." We had a good laugh after I woke up. OBTW, I was back in the OR TWO WEEKS later, just to say thanks to the crew. I guess it was the albumin.
